Summer Workshop - The 8 Limbs of Yoga

I am very excited to confirm that I will be running a workshop on Sunday August 18th from 10am-1pm with my friends and amazing Dru Yoga teachers Sue Cheese and Claire Dunn.

The workshop will be centred around Patanjali's 8 Limbs of Yoga, exploring the yamas and niyamas (ways to live a balanced and good life), asana (poses), pranayama (breathing), pratyhara (withdrawal of the senses), dharana (concentration), and dyana (meditation), all working in conjunction to bring you to a state of Samadhi or bliss!

Burntwood Monday Night Class - Dates for Summer

The Burntwood class will continue running throughout July, the last class being on Monday 29th July. There will then be no classes throughout August, although see above for details on the mid-summer Workshop! Classes will recommence on Monday 9th September

Cancellation of Class due to WEATHER

Good morning everyone. If you are  checking this, you are wondering if the outdoor class in Beacon Park is on today, the 23rd July. I think it is wise to cancel due to thunder, lightening and the possibility of becoming earthing rods if we raise our arms overhead! Lets hope for sunny weather once again next week :)

Following on from the success of last year's Anahata Summer School, I will be working with a few fellow Dru Yogis to bring you some workshops throughout August. Workshops give us more time to take our practice a little deeper, to explore pranayama (breathing), dharana (concentration) and meditation, or look at the philosophy behind yoga and how to incorporate the essence of yoga into your life more fully.

Well done to everyone who braved the cold, slightly rainy weather on Tuesday.
