How I Feel about Yoga & Mindfulness during Covid-19When this dreadful virus emerged last March, we all thought it'd be over in a few weeks. Then by summer, then by Christmas. Now we find ourselves in a new year and in a more serious situation than ever. We humans find uncertainty very unsettling and no matter what your stage in life, I am sure you feel you are constantly required to adapt to new rules & restrictions.
So more than ever, we need all the stress-reducing, immunity-boosting benefits of yoga and mindfulness. We need to look after ourselves so we can enjoy our lives as fully as possible and be in a good place to look after those we love. In every class, we will practice heart openers, breathing & relaxation to help us feel positive, happy & calm. We have also aim to improve our strength & balance, as anything we do physically in yoga also filters through to our other layers, our mental attitudes & emotions too. We practice brief meditations and visualisations before, during &/or after our yoga and if you'd like to practice meditation and mindfulness a bit more, then come to a Mindfulness session. All of the above are suitable for absolute beginners. Look after yourself, look for opportunities to be kind to others and hopefully we will see each other face-to-face in halls and forests again very soon. Face-to-Face Classes
When it is safe to return to our halls in Burntwood & Lichfield, we will. I have no idea when, but I am determined we will. As soon as we start to overcome this virus, I will contact everyone on my mailing list about returning to classes. Let me know if you would like to be on that list and you will receive my weekly emails in the meantime.
