You've been asking, so here are the dates for our Christmas break: Last classes will be on Monday 20th December. We'll return on Tuesday 4th January 2022. Free recorded sessions will be available from late December for you to dabble with over your Christmas break.
I would love to welcome you to a face-to-face yoga class. I am still limiting numbers to ensure we all have plenty of space, so please contact me before you come for the first time. I would be grateful if you could wear a mask to enter & leave class. We don't wear a mask while doing our yoga. If you would rather wait a little longer before joining a class, or you simply like the idea of no travelling & just doing your own thing in the privacy of your own home, I will still be running online yoga classes & mindfulness sessions on Zoom, from my home studio to your lounge, garden - or bed (yes, I know, you 7.30am people!).

Day & Half Day Retreats I am also very, very happy to be able to run events once again. These are wonderful days where you can take some time out of your busy life to recharge, rest & restore. I offer yoga & walking days with my yoga teacher friend Claire, where we spend lots of time outside, in a venture we call Forestry Wellbeing. This year, retreat days will be offered in Lichfield & at the Ingestre Orangery, near Shugborough. I also run half day mindfulness sessions, using the beautiful Orangery, formal lawn and the Long Walk for our mindfulness practices. It's beautifully peaceful!

MINDFULNESS I love teaching mindfulness. Mindfulness continues to work its magic for me; keeping me calm, centred and steady no matter what life throws at me. (Nearly all the time. I have a family and dogs and a job, so you know, life!)
I would love to welcome you to any one of the 5 live sessions I lead each week. These sessions are all online through Zoom. Zoom is super-easy to use and I can help you with this over the phone if you like. The technology is so simple, I don't want it to put you off!
Mindfulness covers a very broad range of techniques that help bring about a feeling of calm & focus. In one session we practice 2-4 different techniques including breathing techniques, breath focus, settling the body, bringing awareness to the body, compassion, gratitude, relaxation techniques and meditations. Anyone can do mindfulness, although it takes practice to be able to quieten the mind and train it to focus on what WE want it to focus on. Mindfulness teaches patience and acceptance too!
