One-to-One (or Two) Sessions I love doing 1-2-1 sessions.
I can show you the basics before you come to a class or work on a particular part of your body that isn't very happy right now and needs some love, stretching out, strengthening or opening up. I'll tailor the session to you, your body and what you'd like from your yoga. You can do just one to sort something out, go weekly or monthly or ad hoc as and when you have time. I will always record the session which you can than download and keep for future practice! 1-2-1 sessions start at just £30 per hour for online through Zoom. I love being able to take the time to personalise yoga to suit individuals. Every week, I work with a range of clients who prefer to have a private session with a bit of a chat, a tailored practice where we can adapt, slow down or go for it!
My 1-2-1 clients include a 78-year-old recovering from a hip replacement, two home-schooled children with autism & ADHD, a 40 year old living with fibromyalgia & ME, A 60-year old looking to improve his yoga technique, a woman with very tight hips affecting her horse-riding & at the moment, always people returning to yoga after a long break. One-to-one sessions might suit you if you:
- have difficulty coming to a regular class,
- have a condition which means that you tire easily or cannot attend a full length class in the evening,
- are new to yoga or are returning after a long break, or
- have a condition which you would like to respect by learning how to move safely and correctly before attending a larger class.
I can provide tuition and guidance to allow you to experience the unique benefits of a more gentle yoga in your own home or another location if you don't have room. These sessions would be tailored to you, to help you gain the most from your practice and address any physical or other issues you may be currently be experiencing.
I would provide you with some detailed notes on what we have done in our session so you can carry on your practice until the next time we meet and can offer advice on breathing techniques (pranayama), relaxation (yoga nidra), meditation or mindfulness, to help you to release stress so you can feel more positive, sleep better and approach life with calm enthusiasm.
I am fully CRB checked for your peace of mind. These sessions usually last an hour, but can be tailored as needed. Costs for a one hour session start at £30 per hour.
