What is Mindfulness??
Mindfulness is very simple and can be done anywhere and anytime.
It is largely being aware of yourself and your surroundings; paying very kind attention to how you feel, to the thoughts going through your mind and to your senses. Mindfulness is a rapidly growing way for people to enjoy all the benefits of a calmer the mind, more relaxed body and a more aware, present way of being. Mindfulness helps us to become less reactive to life's twists and turns, and feel more resilient and better able to cope with whatever we find in front of us. Mindfulness has made me more aware of the beauty, love and joy in my life and given me more time to enjoy it. I've been trained by Suryacitta, "The Smiling Buddha"; a straight forward Liverpudlian who also happens to be an ordained Buddhist monk. His motto is "Keep it simple and elegant".
