Camatkarasana: The Ecstatic Unfolding of the Joyful Heart

9/12/2013

This week we will be looking to bring ourselves into harmony with others; to let go of the past and its habits and patterns of behaviour, and come into the present; to open our hearts to the joy and the good all around us. Our yoga will help us to accept others as they are and feel gratitude for what they bring to our lives.

The pose that will help us do this is Camatkarasana, or The Wild Thing, a joyful backbend, balance and heart opener which we will work up to gradually through some flowing forward and backward bends. As always in Dru, there will be options for everyone and an indulgent relaxation at the end of class.

See you soon!
